You can enjoy DisneyPlus on your smartphone, but you need to connect it to a smart TV to watch it on a large screen and in high definition. In this case, Connect to DISNEYPLUS.COM/START on your smartphone. And you have to enter an 8-digit code. Follow the steps below for the detailed method.
What to do with your smart TV
1. Access the App Store on Smart TV.
2. Download and run the DisneyPlus app.
3. Log in to DisneyPlus (membership must be made in advance)
4. Now there is an 8-digit code on the smart TV screen. Leave it in this state and now proceed with the next step on the smartphone.
What to do on your smartphone or PC
1. You should not run the DisneyPlus app on your smartphone or PC. Instead, in your web browser, enter 'www.disneyplus.com/begin' or 'DISNEYPLUS.COM/START'
2. Enter the 8-digit code on your smartphone and click Next.
3. Enter your email and click Next.
4. Enter your password and click Login. The message 'TV setup is complete' is now printed.
5. On the Smart TV, go to the Settings menu. (The settings may vary slightly depending on the Smart TV.)
6. Select [Account] again.
7. Click Authenticate your account. After a while, six digits of the authentication number will be sent to the email that joined DisneyPlus.
8. Enter the 6-digit authentication number on the smart TV and click Next.
9. Now you can enjoy DisneyPlus through Smart TV.
If you want to watch DisneyPlus with a smart TV, you need to access DisneyPlus from your PC or smartphone. Then enter www.disneyplus.com/begin or DISNEYPLUS.COM/START i the web browser address bar. And you must enter the 8-digit code on the smart TV on the screen to authenticate.
